Walking Treks - Winter (October - April)

5 Days In Jebel Sargho (Sahara)

Trekking or walking in Morocco offers a rich and colourful experience, allowing a privileged and unhurried contact with a world scarcely changed in a thousand years; friendly peoples and ancient cultures, spectacular scenery and remarkable refreshing activity.

Day 1
 
07.30 You will be collected from your hotel in Marrakech and transferred by Land Rover over the High Atlas (Tichka Pass) and through Ouarzazate and Agdz to Nkob (about 6.5 hours drive. 213 miles) with picnic lunch en-route. After Nkob, drive on piste to Hanedour (1,200 m) for overnight camp.
 
Day 2 - about 5 hours walking
 

Trek to Berkik and Tamalelt (1,380 m). Overnight camp near the river.

 
Day 3 - about 5 hours walking
 

Climb to Tizi n'Taggourt plateau (1,900 m) and continue to Tadaout Tablah, a forest of pinnacles.

 
Day 4 - about 5 hours walking
 
In the morning, trek round the Tadaout Tablah spectacular pinnacle region and after lunch continue on to Bab n' Ali for overnight camp.
 
Day 5
 
Early morning departure from the camp for a short walk down the piste. Meet the Land Rover and return by road to Marrakech via Nkob, Agdz and Ouarzazate. Lunch at a small restaurant between Agdz and Ouarzazate. End of our services.
