Departing from Marrakech

4 Days Sahara (mid October - May)

The great Sahara Desert holds an immediate fascination for those seeking a once in a lifetime journey, a Land Rover Safari offers some of the most spectacular sightseeing in the world.

Day 1
 
07.00 depart from your hotel in Marrakech by Land Rover crossing the High Atlas (Tichka Pass) to Amerzgane, Tazenakht and Foum Zguid (212 miles) and then on piste for the final 15 miles to Mdaouer Kbir for overnight camp.
 
Day 2 - about 3 hours driving
 

Follow the piste to the dunes of Erg Mzahil. After picnic lunch, you will be taken for a 2 hour walk through the dunes. Overnight camp in on the edge of the dunes.

 
Day 3 - about 5 hours driving
 

Follow the piste to the dunes of Erg Smar then walk to the dunes of Erg Ebidliya followed by a drive along the pistes to Mhamid where you will join a tarmac road to Tagounit where you will cross the oasis and overnight at Foum Takkat.

 
Day 4 - about 7 hours driving
 

Early morning departure from the camp and head along pistes to Beni Ali and join the main road to Zagora. Picnic lunch before setting off along the Draa Valley to Agdz, Ouarzazate and back to Marrakech (225 miles). End of our services.
