5 days in the Sahara

Everyone has a fantasy to be Lawrence of Arabia for a short part of their life and this is an ideal opportunity to fulfil that dream. Visit some of the most beautiful, spectacular and dramatic scenery in the world..

	Day 1 -
	Depart from your hotel in Marrakech at 07.00 by mini bus and drive over the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate and on through Agdz, the Draa Valley and Zagora (220 miles) to Mhamid where you will meet your guide and cameleers. About 7 hours drive. Ride on camels for about one hour to the El Rhozlane Palm Grove near Mhamid for overnight camp.

	Day 2 -
	After breakfast, set off on camelback crossing the River Draa and on through the Tamaris forest. Overnight camp in the dunes near Dayat Aoutid (6 hours).

	Day 3 -
	Camel-trek west along the Erg Sedrat dunes. Overnight camp at Ouled Mellag (about 6.5 hours).

	Day 4 -
	Camel-trek south of Daiet Chegaga, cross Erg Ebidiya dunes and then north of Erg Mhazil where you will climb the high dunes. Lunch in the Tamaris shadow. Overnight camp. About 6 hours.

	Day 5 -
	A short trek to the west and meet your driver and vehicle at about 10 a.m. Drive across the piste to Foum Zguid (40 miles) and then join the main road to Taznakht, Emerzgane and cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech with picnic lunch on the way (about 7 hours drive). End of our services.
